Mya Winslow is a character in the Apple TV+ streaming series Presumed Innocent. She is portrayed by Gabby Beans.

Biography[]

Mya is a young defense attorney from Yale who's hired by Raymond to assist him in handling Rusty's case.

Discovery[]

Raymond first mentions Mya when he informs Rusty that he's hired a defense attorney to assist them in handling Rusty's case.

She appeared in person on the date of Rusty's pretrial hearing and quietly spectated the hearing, following Raymond's advice.

The next day, Raymond sets up his office, and Mya questions Rusty about his relationship with Carolyn to formulate a narrative for the trial. Rusty reluctantly answers all of her answers associated with them.

The Burden[]

Mya interviews Rusty about the night of the murder and what he did. When Raymond asks about it, she thinks he should stay off the witness chair, and he agrees.

Pregame[]

Mya listens to Rusty's opinion of how Liam Reynolds case is connected to Carolyn's death, but she notes that his case is entirely different. Upset that he couldn't reach the two, Rusty leaves Mya and Raymond and informs them that Brian Ratzer will be there the next day to be questioned.

The next day, Mya participates in questioning to see if he's truly connected in Bunny's case, but while he admits he had a sexual addiction, he didn't kill Bunny. Nor was he ever involved with Liam.

On the day of Rusty's trial, Mya is seen in attendance.

The Elements[]

Mya attends the court trials mostly as a spectator, but performs the cross-examination of Eugenia.

The Witness[]

After Raymond's heart attack puts him out of commission for an uncertain amount of time, Mya chooses to take his place, but Rusty decides to take his place. However, Rusty chooses to represent himself regardless of the repercussions that it may bring.

On the day when Rusty performed a cross-examination on Michael. Mya sat on the sidelines as Rusty caused a scene at the court trying to apply that either Michael or Dalton may have killed Carolyn.

A major rift occurs after Rusty is forced to testify after his cross-examination of Rigo, and Mya tries to leave the case, but decides to return the day after.

The Verdict[]

Mya appears in Judge Lyttle's chambers when the alluded murder weapon is found and tries to convince Rusty that the fire poker shouldn't be entered into evidence.

This is further discussed in Raymond's kitchen, where Mya reveals that a private investigator was hired to follow Barbara and she knew about her fling with Clifton.

Mya would continue being a part of the trials, until Rusty was acquitted of Carolyn's murder.
